| Batu Arang Batu Arang was a coal main mining town in Selangor, Malaysia. Apart from coal, Batu Arang was also known for its bricks manufacturing. Today it no longer supplies coal and holds no significant role. There used to be a railway line connecting the mainline of Malayan Railways at Kuang to Batu Arang, which was opened in 1915, and westwards to Batang Berjuntai which was opened in 1918. In 1971 Malayan Railways shut down the line and dismantled the tracks with introduction of more diesel locomotives into its fleet; up to that point Batu Arang was the only source of coal for its steam locomotives. |

| Broga Broga is a small town in Selangor, 50 km from Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. It is the location of a somewhat controversial development where Asia's largest incinerator is to be built, designed to reduce Kuala Lumpur's dependence on landfill as a means of waste management. In early 2005, a temporary injunction was issued, stopping work on the project, in response to a lawsuit by residents of Broga and the nearby Semenyih. However, the injunction has since expired, and work has continued, much to the disappointment of the local residents. They complained that the project was started without consultation and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and fear for the health and environmental effects of the incinerator on their town. |

There's also the constant traffic congestion in areas like where the 1 Utama Shopping Centre and Ikea are located, and the roadside hawker issue at Bandar Sri Damansara. There was an Orang Asli village on the hill previously, consisting mainly of the Temuan tribe. But today the village has been relocated to Desa Temuan, near Damansara Perdana. Their "Batin" (meaning leader in Temuan language) name is Kanau. 30 percent of Temuan here are Muslim, 20 percent are Christian and 50 percent are animists, believing in the power of nature. |

Port Klang was originally known as Port Swettenham when it was founded under British colonial rule in 1893, after the then British Resident High Commissioner for the Malay State, Sir Frank Swettenham. Official opening of the port was on September 15, 1901, which developed as a new port after a study found that its coastal area had a harbor with deep anchorage, free from dangers and very suitable for wharves. | Puchong Puchong is a main town in Petaling district, Selangor in Malaysia. Puchong used to be a rubber estate and tin-mining town about 40 years ago. Up until about 20 years ago, Puchong consists of only one two-lane road running through estates and villages. Since then, urbanization has occurred rapidly in recent years with many industrial parks, commercial centres and residential areas mushrooming along Jalan Puchong, the main road. Puchong is situated midway between the Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's commercial capital, and Putrajaya, the administrative capital. To this camp are sent so-called apostates who convert to other faiths from Islam, here they have to undergo a 'programme'. This camp is run by Islamic authorities. The Shariah Courts can order the apostates to be detained for 100 days and they may be further detained if they donot 'repent'/'recant'. These so-called apostates donot have any redress in civil law |
